Chicago
We had a warm day here in Chicago. Warm being, 48 degrees. My friend Emily suggested a Zoo Day. Lincoln Park Zoo is completely FREE and it was almost empty. The monkeys were our favorite. The bridge to walk to the Farm area from the street had an amazing view of the Chicago skyline!
We had stake conference yesterday and I keep thinking of the message of Our loving Heavenly Parents always stretching their arms to reach us. There are many times Jack doesn’t want to hold my hand or snuggle in on a hug... but the times he does, it make my heart grow and I feel so connected to him as his mother. I feel that same way when I reach back to God. Hoping I can remember to reach up to Them this week because I really do need it. Also, Chicago fall is AMAZING so /i wanted to share a fall playlist!

Dallas Clayton just finished a new mural in Chicago! It's located in Wicker Park at 1611 E Damen Ave. We drove up and parked a few blocks away so we could park for free! (free parking in Chicago ain't no joke) It was so fun to read all the amazing power and love statements on the wall. I honestly couldn't stop smiling looking at it. Seeing my baby boy under words like "You're a Wish and a Wonder!" and "you're a miracle child!" was really moving. I hope everyone feels that as they see those words! Also just a few blocks away is En Hakkore and En Hakkore 2.0 we love Asian fusion food and this place has some delicious Bibimbap and Korean BBQ tacos. GO TRY!
UPDATE! The mural is painted over :( honestly I am so sad about it!
Promontory Point is about a fifteen minute walk from our house and it has the best view of the whole city. So fun hanging with my girl Kelly. WE MISS YOU!
